Hex Jam

Compared to standard hex nuts, hex jam nuts are thinner. But, they feature the same dimension across the flats and corners. Hex jam nuts have two common applications. A hex jam nut can be threaded onto a bolt and run tightly against a standard nut. Well, this phenomenon helps lock the nut in its place apart from preventing it from pulling back. Moreover, these nuts are used for leveling purposes.
